1. Who we are
This policy explains how Puttscape, Inc. ("Puttscape," "we," "us") handles information in the Puttscape mixed-reality mini golf app, including the version distributed on Google Play for Android XR devices such as XREAL glasses.
We are a Delaware corporation based in Fort Collins, Colorado, USA.
2. Data the app accesses
The App needs to understand your space and follow your hands and head.
| Data | Why | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Environment and scene data | Fit and anchor the course to your room. | Processed on-device. Layouts and anchors stay on-device. We receive no camera images or video. |

| Diagnostics | Fix crashes and performance issues. | Sent to providers; not linked to your name or email. |
Venue courses
When you choose a venue course, Google visual positioning may process camera imagery and approximate location to align the virtual course. Google handles this under its Privacy Policy.
What we don't collect
We don't collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone audio, precise GPS location outside venue courses, payment information, or advertising ID.
Permissions
Android controls scene and hand-tracking permissions. You can revoke them in device settings, though some features will stop working.
3. How we use data
- Provide gameplay, course placement, putting, and scoring.
- Fix crashes and improve stability.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We don't advertise to you or build profiles about you.
5. How we protect data
Camera, scene, hand, and head data stays on-device. Off-device data uses HTTPS/TLS. We limit collection and access to what is needed. No system is perfectly secure, but we use reasonable safeguards.
6. Retention and deletion
Game data, settings, and layouts remain until you clear App storage or uninstall. Providers retain diagnostics only as needed, then delete or anonymize them. Email deletion requests to hello@puttscape.com; we'll respond within 30 days. The App currently has no accounts.
7. Children
The App isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. Follow your device maker's minimum-age guidance.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection, and opt out of sale or targeted advertising (we do neither). Contact us to exercise these rights. We may verify your request. EEA and UK users may complain to their local authority.
Under GDPR, diagnostics rely on our legitimate interest in App reliability; scene and tracking processing is necessary to provide gameplay.
9. International users
We and our providers may process data in the United States and elsewhere, using appropriate safeguards where required.
10. Changes
We'll update this page and effective date when practices change and provide notice of significant changes.
